Time to craft!

I have been very lucky of the last few days and have had time in a abundance for card making the last few days.
Mike has had some time off mainly to watch the Tour of Britain as we were lucky enough for it to be in our area. Anyway it also meant that he was home to help with the children's schooling giving me a little more time to make cards.
I have made a few but wish to share a couple for now and enter them into a couple of challenges.
The first is for the One Stop Craft Challenge the theme being Beary Nice.

The image and papers are both from Cuddlybuddly.
I think the children will be giving this one to their Nanny for her birthday which will be upon as before long.

I never have the right cards about when my friends teenage daughters birthday come up so this one will be one to keep back for such an occasions.

I'm going to enter this one into the The secrect crafters Saturday Challenge this weeks theme is one for the girls.
The Image is from Pollycrafts Cherry Kisses range and the papers are from, yes you've guessed it Cuddlybuddly.
OK that's it for now I'm off to finish watching my favourite film Pride & Prejudice.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little blog.

Late again!

I'm not very good at getting my cards made in time for the challenges.

My Orange and Chocolate below was to late by about five hours. Typical me always leaving things to the last minute but hopefully I'm just in time for this weeks Dare You To Digi Stamp challenge. I made this card this morning but had run out of glue so had to pop out to our local craft shop to pick up some more.

Anyway this is the sketch you had to follow.

and this is my card.
The image is from Pollycraft's Ginger collection and the papers are from Cuddlybuddly
Patchwork collection.
The flowers are from my stash.

OK well I'm off to link my post to the challenge, fingers crossed I'm not to late.

I Won

Wow I can't believe my luck.

I hadn't be able to get on the Internet much over the last couple of days until last night. So can you believe my surprise when I was catching up on some blogs and there in big bold type was my name Susie's son had pulled my name out of a hat and I had won this fantastic Blog Candy.
After running around the house screaming with excitement, so close to waking the little guys I left a comment for Susie and before I could email her she had already emailed me.
Thank you so much Susie I'll be waiting for Mr Posty with baited breath.

How lucky I'm I

Sorry no cards to show you at the moment although I have had chance to make a few so will hopefully post them later as I would like to enter a couple of challenges. Making the cards isn't the problem getting time to put them on my blog is.

Anyways enough of that I just had to scream it out I AM ONE LUCKY LADY, my wonderful, fantastic, amazing husband has just ordered me the whole set yes that's 92 of these wonderful babies, how fantastic is that. ( Didn't like to ask for the 56 new colours that are out as well).

This isn't the only wonderful gesture of late, he knew how much I wanted the new Christmas Popcorn Bear CD and Stamps So whilst I was at work the other week and Crafters Companion was on Ideal World with this CD and stamp set he ordered them for me. So can you imagine my surprise when two sets came with Mr posty as I also ordered set. He was really upset when he realised I had ordered them as well as he wanted to do something nice for me.

This does mean I have a spare set, I know I don't have many followers but if you do happen to fall across my blog and know of anyone who may be interested in purchasing a set please let them know I have a set for sell.
Christmas Popcorn Bear triple CD set £30.00

Christmas Popcorn Bear set of 4 stamps £15.00
Thank you for popping across from one happy girl.

So many challenges

and just not enough time.

I've only been surfing the papercrafting blogs for a few weeks but I've come across so many great and inspirational challenges but I just don't seem to be able to keep up with them. I must need more practise, lots more crafting time, thats what I need.

Nevertheless I have noticed that I have all ready made acouple of cards that could be entered into a challenge first this Popcorn Bear Christmas card for the Allsorts Challenge. The challenge was to follow the sketch and tear somewhere on the card.

For the next challenge I'm entering this card into the Cupcake Challenge, the challenge a shape card anything goes but square. I made this one for my friends daughters first birthday.

Thank you for taking the time to come and take a look.

Terrible weather, great crafting

What awful weather we've had to day, it's been so dark and wet. The poor children haven't been able to go out much today but they've been really good and kept their self's entertained one way or another which gave me the chance to make some cards.
I spent a lot of time over the weekend trying out different ways to colour in stamps, pencils, watercolour pencils, inks, my whisper pens I just couldn't get it right. I even went to our local craft store to find something I could use and I came across those wonderful makers you all rave on about but one, my budget really couldn't stretch that far at the moment and two, I didn't really get on with them when I tried them in the shop. Anyway what I'm saying is I think it will be a while before I'm a stamping queen like oodles of you are.
So I guess this means I'll have to make do and use all my old stuff I still have from when I use to make cards a few years ago.
I did purchase the new Popcorn Bear Christmas cd and the Candy doodles cd from Polka Doodles which hopefully will give me some new inspiration.
Ok here's my efforts from today.

First a few of cards made with elements from the Popcorn cd

My first attempt at a swing card

This next card was made from the Marvel set I also purchase not long ago, it's great for boys and men alike.

This one I made with just some stuff from my stash

That's me done for now so thanks for coming by a taking a look.
